As we leave behind the most unpredictable of years the effect of Covid-19 on society, the economy and global commerce has meant that the world of business communications has evolved at an accelerated rate. As a result of this ‘new normal’ businesses have changed how they interact and communicate with their clients and employees forever. Being catapulted into the world of remote working has given way to the age of the ‘Smart Business Phone System’.

The economy will recover faster than expected.
There have been sustained periods of economic growth after previous monetary and fiscal stimuli by Central Banks and Governments. The stimuli to counter the pandemic have far outweighed any past economic packages (20% of all the dollars currently in circulation were ’printed’ in 2020!).

How companies interact with customers and employees has changed forever.
Companies will embrace Smart Business Phone Systems. Customers can choose which method (phone, messaging, video, twitter, email, etc) to engage on AND employees will expect to be able to collaborate and work remotely. Moving to the cloud will be a cost reduction necessity.
Companies will reduce CapeX and OpeX by migrating to cloud SaaS cost structures. 74% of companies now operate some systems in the cloud (MS365 being the lead) and will move more and more solutions to the cloud .

Buying local and supporting Irish businesses.
Supporting local businesses will become more important in the decision making process.
