Eden Recruitment were an existing customer of Workair for a number of months before the Covid-19 pandemic. They had previously invested in a cloud communication solution with another provider but were unhappy with it. Within three working days, Workair had the company up and running on an 8×8 UC platform, with full PBX functionality, video conferencing, instant messaging, analytics and free calls to 14 countries within 3 working days. This solution enabled their employees to work remotely, which helped them to retain key members of staff. Having a unified communication platform was important to the company and the ability for it to seamlessly integrate with their existing CRM was a key requirement.
With the outbreak of Covid-19, Eden Recruitment were quick to close their offices to ensure the safety of their staff and clients. As a result, they needed their twenty-plus employees to continue to work from home.
As Eden Recruitment was an existing customer of Workair’s they were in a position to be able to work from home the very next day. All staff continued to collaborate using the 8×8 platform. Interviews with candidates were conducted online using video meetings and communications with clients continued using video, phone and Instant Messaging.
