MMPI is an award winning insurance and investment brokerage in Donnybrook in Dublin. MMPI was established in 1993 and specialises financial planning, general insurance, life and serious illness protection, investment, pensions and mortgages.

The Challenge

  • Telephony: MMPI had a traditional PBX phone system which was expensive to run and had limited functionality.
  • Remote working: MMPI operates in an industry that is heavily regulated. In order to allow staff to work from home all the regulatory requirements around call recording had to be adhered too.

The Process 
After an initial consultation to get a better understanding of MMPI’s requirements and work practices Workair were able to present and advise on two systems. Upon seeing a demonstration on both, MMPI opted for the 8×8 option.  It was the more viable option for what they required. The new system was installed for all users the day before it went live.

The Solution
The changeover was a seamless process. There was no real downtime or interruption to the business. Workair were on hand to assist through the process and have continued to be available to MMPI. MMPI were extremely fortunate to have implemented the Workair solution prior to Covid-19. The company was able to accommodate remote working with minimal impact on the day aspect of the business. The mobile app has been a key feature, helping keep communication with clients consistent as well as meeting regulatory requirements around call recording. The complete suite of analytics allows for reporting on staff activity delivering better customer insights.
